Two new can openers that we are currently testing are the Progressive Safety I-Can Opener and the OXO Smooth Edge Can Opener. Both of the models are easy-to-use & were designed with safety in mind. They leave no sharp edges on the can or lid. Additionally, they do not come in contact with food while in use, which keeps the whole operation sanitary & relatively mess-free. Plus, they are a great product for people who suffer from arthritis. The Progressive can opener is also ambidextrous (for left & right handed people), which is an added bonus.
